Meet the Owner:

 

Michael J. Burlaka, QPA,QKA,APA,AKS.  Mike is the founder and owner of Arrowhead Pensions, Inc.. He has over two and a half decades of experience in the qualified plan administration field.  Prior to starting his company June of 2006, he was a Plan Administrator and Manager in some of Phoenix’s leading retirement plan administration firms.

Mike has earned multiple industry designations to include: Enrolled Retirement Plan Administrator (ERPA) with the Internal Revenue Service , Qualified Plan Administrator (QPA) and Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) through The American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) Accredited Pension Administrator (APA) and finally Accredited 401(k) Specialist (AKS) with the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA).

 

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) University of Brockport.  He is also a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving as Military Police officer, having also earned the coveted Army Airborne Badge. Mike served with both distinction and honor. God, Family and Country are at the core of Mike's belief system.

Personally:

Mike is married to his best friend and soulmate Angie, recently celebrating their 25th year of marriage. Mike and Angie have a daughter, son, dog and cat. In his personal time, he is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, where he continues to instruct and compete on a regular basis.  He also greatly enjoys taking in the beautiful Arizona scenery while camping, and ATV riding the back roads with his family and friends.
